Amazon has launched a sale on their AmazonBasics brand Apple-certified Lightning USB cables (Premium Collection), with their 6-feet 2-pack available for 31% off at $19.64, an all-time low on the site, according to price tracker CamelCamelCamel.
The price works out to $9.82 per cable, a fraction of the price of replacement Lightning cables from Apple, plus these are 6-feet long, so you can use them while lounging on the couch, or for the iPad in the car during this summer’s road trips.
The Premium Collection comes with thicker USB and Lightning cable ends, to prevent fraying and tested to bend 95 degrees, 25,000 times. The Premium Collection comes with a lifetime warranty, so your cables will always be covered by replacements for free.
Amazon also has their Advanced Collection of these same cables on sale at historic lows, at $17.80 for a 2-pack at 34% off. These only come with a 2-year limited warranty and have been tested to bend at 95 degrees 10,000 times. You may want to spend an extra $1.84 for the Premium Collection and its lifetime warranty though…
Apple is expected at some point to debut USB-C for the iPhone, but until that time comes, having a spare and lengthy Lightning cable or two around remains handy at all times. Check out the purchase links below:
