Apple Gift Card Deal: Get 10% Back in PC Optimum Points for Every $50 Purchased

Another Apple Gift Card deal is back, and it’s for PC Optimum Points collectors in select provinces such as Ontario.

According to iPhone in Canada reader Jonathan, the PC Optimum Points offer launched today offers 10% back in points, on every $50 Apple Gift Card purchased (up to $500). So a $50 purchase gives you 5,000 points back, which is the equivalent of $5 towards your next purchase.

You can apply these Apple Gift Cards to your Apple ID, thus allowing you to save on any purchase from Apple, whether it be software or hardware. If you’re using your Apple ID to fund subscriptions such as Apple Music or Apple One, this is one way to save a few bucks (in the form of PC Optimum Points).

We’re not seeing the Apple Gift Card points offer in the PC Optimum app for our location in B.C., so this may be targeted.

Back in January, we saw a slightly better deal of 15,000 PC Optimum Points back for every $100 spent on Apple Gift Cards.

The fine print says the offer starts March 10 and ends on March 16, 2022, and applies to Apple Gift Cards purchased in-store only, for a maximum of 10 gift cards (or $500 in a single transaction).

Update: The deal is also available at Shoppers Drug Mart.
