Apple has launched a trade-in bonus for Apple Watch Series 6 for the month of February, advertising the new watch starting from $349 CAD.
The company’s website is advertising “extra trade-in savings” this month, with the fine print detailing an Apple Watch Series 6 from $349 is after trading in an Apple Watch Series 4 in “good condition”.
According to Apple’s website, a Series 4 Apple Watch is worth up to $180, up $15 compared to late January.
“Extra trade-in values require purchase of a new Apple Watch, subject to availability and limits,” says Apple.
There’s also promo pricing for Apple Watch SE, available after trading in a Series 2 in “good condition”. An Apple Watch Series 2 has an estimated trade-in value of up to $70 on Apple’s website, up $25 compared to last month.
As always, you can get more money for your Apple Watch if you sell it privately on Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, etc. But some people can’t be bothered and that’s why trade-in programs like the one from Apple exist.
