Back in May, Apple refreshed its 13.3-inch MacBook Pro, throwing in its new Magic Keyboard (return of the scissor-switch keyboard) and finally ditching the horrendous butterfly switch keyboard, to go with doubled entry RAM, storage and faster processors.
Fast forward three months later and these 2020 13.3-inch MacBook Pro models have hit the refurbished store on Apple.ca.
As of writing, you can get the entry 1.4GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 13.3-inch MacBook Pro with 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD for $1,439 CAD, saving you $260 off (15%) the retail price of $1,699. Apple.ca shows these entry models are able to deliver in two business days.
If you want the same model as above but with 16GB of RAM it’s $1,659 CAD. Need 512GB of storage then it’ll be $1,869 CAD. To step up to the newer 1.7GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 with 16GB RAM and 256 SSD, you’ll need to pay $1,979 CAD.
Refurbished Macs from Apple are covered under the company’s one-year limited warranty, can be returned within 15 days and also are eligible for AppleCare.
These models are usually good as new but just lack a shiny box. It’s worth it to save 15% off a Mac that just debuted three months ago. The quick debut of these refurbished models may be timed to target students with back to school just around the corner.
