Costco Clearance: 32GB iPhone 6S Plus Drops to $299.97

Iphone 6s plus costco

Apple is rumoured to launch ‘iPhone 9’ or ‘iPhone SE 2’ sometime in March, but if you don’t care and need a ‘cheap’ older iPhone, Costco.ca now has the ageing iPhone 6s Plus on clearance, at $299.97.

Last month we saw select Costco warehouses sell the smaller iPhone 6s for $199.97 for the 32GB model. But if you want the larger iPhone 6s Plus, it’s available for $299.97 in 32GB (Rose Gold, Silver, Gold) and $399.97 for the 128GB Space Grey version.

The iPhone 6s Plus is powered by Apple’s A9 chip and is capable of running iOS 13. There’s no guarantee this phone will run iOS 14, although rumours point out it may still make the cut.

For those with kids looking to get an iPod touch (starts at $249 for 32GB from Apple), you may be better off spending $50 more here for an iPhone instead with a larger 5.5-inch display (versus 4-inches on the iPod touch).

Again, with a new ‘iPhone 9’ and ‘iPhone SE 2’ rumoured for a March debut at $399 USD (about $529 CAD), you may want to hold off, but if you don’t care about having the latest and greatest, this may be one to consider due to the Costco 90-day return policy.
