Spotify Premium normally costs $9.99 CAD per month, but right now the company is offering a promo offering a 67% off discount for three months, which works out to $3.33 per month.
According to Spotify, after the three months promo is up, users will be charged the regular price of $9.99 per month. The offer is “not available to users who cancelled Premium after 16-Oct-2018 or to users in Quebec.”

We find the curated playlists and discovery on Spotify is better than Apple Music, which is also priced at $9.99 on a monthly plan (annual plans are cheaper).
Spotify Premium offers offline downloads, ad-free listening and unlimited skips compared to the free version. You also get access to the latest songs for streaming.
If you have smart speakers from Google or Amazon, Spotify Premium will bring much-improved streaming for music, since these speakers cannot access Apple Music with voice controls.
