French site iGen has spotted a new set of iPad cases which seem to support rumours of a redesigned 9.7-inch tablet (via MacRumors).
The above image, showing an alleged case for the forthcoming iPad Air 3 or 9.7-inch iPad Pro (whatever its name will be), suggests the tablet will sport an LED flash and take a page from 12.9-inch iPad Pro design elements.
The pictures show a headphone jack port, a four-speaker system, and a Smart Connector, alongside the volume buttons and mute switch located on the right side.
As you may recall, rumours of the next-generation 9.7-inch iPad claimed the tablet would sport a much faster A9X chip and, according to a questionable rumour shared by Digitimes, a 4K display and 4 GB of RAM.
Apple is widely expected to hold a media event during the week of March 21, where we should see a brand-new 4-inch iPhone (dubbed as the iPhone 5SE or iPhone SE) resembling the iPhone 5s in design, the next gen 9.7-inch iPad, and possibly minor Apple Watch updates.
