iPhone in Canada Podcasting with Talkshoe–LIVE!

Hey folks, I hope you guys enjoyed the April Fools jokes (here and here) from the other day. However, I would like to apologize to those who ran into troubles with the “Rick roll” link (I did not mean any harm and I am sorry if you had to force close your browser and such) and those who fell for the Rogers iPhone announcement.

With that being said, let’s move on and I’ll keep the iPhone news and tips coming your way! I promise no more jokes (until next year that is!). So for all you RSS readers, feel confident that the links I post are legitimate ones! 🙂

Anyways, I’m happy to announce that iPhoneinCanada.ca is teaming up with a few iPhoneinCanada.ca forum members to offer the first ever LIVE podcast! We’ll be doing this via TalkShoe.com, the same website that TUAW uses for their podcasts.

What the? An iPhone in Canada dot ca podcast? What do I need to know?

When: Sunday, April 6th, 2008.

Where: TalkShoe.com …we will be posting a link to the show the day of. So stay tuned. You will be able to “listen live” on Talkshoe.com and talk if you wish (requires a download).

How: If you want to participate, register on TalkShoe.com and download their free “Pro” version of their Talkshoe software. This will let you participate in the live discussion if you wish to do so. There is a way to get involved without downloading, but when we did a test run we couldn’t get it working. So downloading and installing the TalkShoe app is the way to go. Click here to read the official forum thread.

If you don’t have time to listen to the live podcast on Sunday, there will be links up afterwards to download in .mp3 format or to listen streaming online. This is going to be pretty interesting, just a bunch of iPhoneinCanada.ca members talking about the latest happenings on the iPhone!

Be sure to stay tuned and check out the live show on Sunday. I will post the exact details later. In the meantime, register at Talkshoe.com and install the software if you want to join in on Sunday! This is going to be your opportunity to give your 2 cents! =)
