One of the features on my iPhone that rarely gets used is the Spotlight page. When you’re on you home screen, and you swipe your finger to the right, you can search for anything on your iDevice, in one convenient search field. If it’s something you don’t use regularly, and you have your device jailbroken, you can turn the Spotlight page into your favorite web page with a new Cydia tweak called, “WebSpot”.

Setting up WebSpot is fairly simple. After downloading and installing from Cydia, go into the Settings app and look for WebSpot. There, you can configure what webpage you want your Spotlight to be. You can also set it to autoload when you do to go the page, and choose to show WebSpot’s UI or not.
WebSpot is available in Cydia, in the BigBoss repo, for free!
