Apple Stops Selling 2015 MacBook Pro, But Still Available in the Refurb Store

After launching a refresh on 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro models this morning, Apple also quietly stopped selling its 2015 MacBook Pro.

The 2015 MacBook Pro was favoured by many customers for its plethora of ports, such as USB 3, HDMI, Thunderbolt 2 and MagSafe 2. Apple’s current MacBook Pro models only have Thunderbolt 3 ports for connectivity and charging.

If you’re still looking to snag a 2015 MacBook Pro, you have one last chance to get it from Apple via their refurbished store, as lists one model left at $2,449, a configuration with a 2.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7, 16GB of RAM and 256GB SSD (this won’t last long):

Apple’s MacBook Pro refresh this morning added new Intel CPUs, new RAM and storage options, new T2 sub processor for always-on “Hey Siri”, plus a revised butterfly keyboard (after previously launching a keyboard fix program).

If you’re about to buy a MacBook Pro or iPad Pro and you’re a student, Apple also launched their Back to School promo today, offering a free pair of Beats with eligible purchases.
