AllThingsD reminds us Apple CEO Tim Cook is set to kick off the sold out D11 Conference tonight in about an hour at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, 30 miles south of Los Angeles. The start will be at 6PM PDT/9PM EDT, where Cook will be interviewed by Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher.
The Apple CEO gave his second public interview at D10 last year, revealing how Steve Jobs lured him to the company from Compaq and how his former boss was ‘an awesome flip-flopper’. We most likely won’t hear any nuggets on upcoming product launches, but we can expect Cook to talk about the company’s tax practices and more.
Last year, the full interview was later posted online hours before WWDC; we might see something similar happen again this year. Stay tuned as we’ll be bringing highlights of the chat once everything is all said and done.
