Acorn TV has announced it has extended its free trial period to 30-days for new subscribers, to help those staying at home “during this rough, tumultuous time.”
Previously at 7-days, the free trial for new subscribers will offer immediate binge programming from a variety of British shows from Britain, Canada and more.
To get the extended trial, new subscribers need to enter the special code FREE30 during check out, Acorn TV tells iPhone in Canada.
Acorn TV is a subsidiary of AMC Networks and its library includes the long-running Canadian series, Murdoch Mysteries, which has new episodes every Monday, in its 13th season.
New customers can watch Acorn TV on Amazon Prime Video Channels, Apple TV, Roku, YouTube TV, Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, iOS (iPhone/iPad), Android, and various tablets. After the 30-day trial you’ll be charged $5.99 CAD/month (or $59.99/year).
