Adele has broken yet another record by becoming the fastest artist to collect 1 billion views for her music video on YouTube.

According to a report by Billboard, the singer’s video for ‘Hello’ broke the record in 87 days, faster than Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style’, which was the first to reach the number, doing so in 158 days.

Adele joins the billion-views club alongside 17 other videos, which include music videos such as ‘Sugar’ by Maroon 5, ‘Lean On’ by Major Lazer and ‘Chandelier’ by Sia. The singer’s massive influence has also been noted with a place in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list of most influential Europeans.

In addition, Adele’s “Hello” was a commercial success on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, spending 10 consecutive weeks at the top spot. It is the lead single from her critically acclaimed album, 25.
