Happy Pride, from Alexa!

This June, you can celebrate Pride month with Amazon Devices and Alexa! Simply say, “Alexa, Happy Pride Month/Day/Week” or “Alexa, tell me a fact about Pride” and she will provide new and unique experiences throughout the month of June. You can also say, “Alexa, tell me a lucky harvest” for a fun story.

Amazon Launches Alexa Show Mode on PC

Show Mode is a voice-first, interactive Alexa experience, exclusively on Lenovo Windows 10 PCs. Show Mode turns your Lenovo PC into an Echo Show-like smart display at no additional cost. You can ask Alexa to add items into your shopping list, set a timer from across the room, or even ask Alexa to read your favourite audiobook.

Getting Ready for the NHL Playoffs with Alexa

Alexa Canada and the NHL on Sportsnet have teamed up to ensure hockey fans in Canada don’t miss a thing. Fans can now watch 60-90 second post-game video highlights after each NHL game through Alexa on Echo Show devices for this NHL season and beyond.

Just say “Alexa, play NHL Highlights” to make sure you don’t miss a thing. This comes after Amazon released the Sportsnet NHL Trivia Skill for Alexa featuring Sportsnet host Jeff Marek earlier this year.
