Amazon Canada Reveals ‘Best of Prime’ for 2018, Most-Gifted Items and More
Amazon Canada has shared their ‘Best of Prime’ for 2018, detailing how Canadians used the online retailers membership service, which offers free two-day shipping and more.
In 2018, Amazon Prime members in Canada “ordered more than double the products with Prime free same-day delivery compared to last year,” explains the company in an email to iPhone in Canada.

For Prime Day in Canada this year, the best-selling product was the Fire TV Stick Basic Edition, while the best-selling product (excluding devices) was the Instant Pot 6 quart 7-in-1 Multi Use.
Prime Day also saw small and medium-sized businesses well exceed $1 billion in worldwide sales.

Amazon says more members worldwide signed up for Prime in 2018 “than ever before”, while 2 billion products were ordered worldwide for delivery in one day or faster.
According to worldwide data through November 2018, Amazon says the most binge-watched original series on Prime Video included Homecoming and Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. On Amazon Music, Justin Timberlake was the most-streamed artist worldwide, while the most-requested song via Alexa was “The Middle” by Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey.
In regards to Twitch Prime, there were over 50 million free game downloads, while the most popular in-game loot was for—of course—Fortnite.
