“We’re thrilled to bring Handmade at Amazon to Amazon.ca, especially since there are hundreds of talented and creative Canadian Artisans from coast to coast” said Mike Strauch, country manager for Amazon.ca in an issued statement. “Our Artisans take pride in creating high quality products that customers can personalize or purchase as one-of-a-kind pieces.”

The online retailer is also aggressively seeking new artisans looking to sign up, as all listing fees will be waived until December 31, 2018. Call this Amazon’s move to take on Etsy, Shopify and more.
