Back in late September, Amazon announced a new Ring Indoor Cam, along with debuting pre-orders for an all-new Stick Up Cam.
The new Stick Up Cam has launched in Canada has is now widely available and ready to ship. The Ring Stick Up Cam is available for $129.99 CAD for the battery-powered or wired version, while the Solar Power version is available at $198.99 CAD.
Back in late August, Ring announced its smart lighting was now available for purchase in Canada, including its Ring Bridge and wired Ring Floodlight. Five battery-powered Ring products also launched: Ring Spotlight ($54.99 CAD), Ring Pathlight ($39.99 CAD), Ring Floodlight Battery ($69.99 CAD), Ring Steplight ($34.99 CAD), and Ring Motion Sensor ($34.99 CAD)
Amazon sent us some Ring Floodlight Battery units to test and after following the steps to get it set up with the Ring Bridge, it works pretty well for illuminating a path or step outside your home at night. They are well built but the downside would be the four D-cell batteries required, as time will tell how long real-world battery life lasts. But there’s an option to have dim lighting during night time hours, with the light only turning on when motion is detected.
With the availability of the Ring Stick Up Cam in Canada, Amazon is trying to make it easier to bring connected lighting throughout the outside of your home.
