Antenna79 Unveils iPhone 6 Case That Claims To Double Cellular Signal Strength [CES 2015]

At CES 2015, Antenna79 announced a new iPhone case called Reach79, which claims to boost signal strength and performance by up to two times.

The company says that because the new cases provide improved signal strength, the battery life of your device will also be improved. This is due to the fact that your iPhone won’t have to work as hard to find a signal.

The case will also help to improve user experience with less dropped calls and faster download speeds. The company says the cases uses antenna technology that can improve signal strength by 1.6 times on average. Antenna79 says that the case comes with military-grade drop protection (up to 6.6 feet).

The company does warn users that the user experience and the signal strength enhancement will depend on the device, carrier, and location. Antenna79’s FAQ webpage says that the case will work worldwide, but users may see varied performance internationally.

“We all want to get the most from our smartphones, and that’s exactly what Reach79 cases were designed to do,” said David Vigil, CEO, Antenna79. “Powered by patented antenna technology, Reach79 cases are the first performance-enhancing smartphone cases designed for speed. Each case is embedded with a micro-thin, gold-plated antenna that works to increase your smartphone’s signal strength so your phone can do more for you.”
