Apple’s Beats by Dre Website Shows an iPhone We’ve Never Seen Before [u]

Apple’s Beats by Dre website is showing an image of an iPhone we’ve never seen before, on the product listing page for Beats Studio3 Wireless headphones.

The device in question is shown on the section of the Beats Studio3 Wireless headphones page that says you can “Charge in minutes with Fast Fuel”. At first glance, the smartphone looks like an Android device, but upon further inspection, the device shows it’s an iPhone because of the Home screen bar at the bottom of the display, seen on iPhones with Face ID.

On the right side of the device, we see volume up and down buttons plus a silent switch. It appears someone who Photoshopped this image forgot to flip the device around. The flat-looking sides and rounded corners almost make us want to believe it’s an iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro, but it doesn’t appear that way.

Just below this iPhone-looking device is a render of an actual iPhone from Apple, showing the Sleep/Wake button and SIM tray on the proper right side.

Nevertheless, the Apple employee who made the iPhone images on this page needs to double-check their work, as conspiracy theorists will want to believe this could be a new iPhone.

Update: the iPhone image has been removed from the Beats by Dre website. Yes, it was an old image that was Photoshopped poorly, still showing Beats1.
