Apple Takes Coronavirus Precautions in Canada: All ‘Today at Apple’ Sessions Paused

Today at apple vancouver

For those looking to attend Today at Apple sessions at Apple Stores across Canada (and the U.S. and Mexico) they have been temporarily paused by the iPhone maker, as a precautionary move against the coronavirus pandemic.

Apple’s U.S. website reads, “as a precautionary measure, we are temporarily pausing Today at Apple programming. Please check back for updates.”

Looking at Apple.ca, Today at Apple sessions cannot be found throughout locations in Canada, as the online calendar just says, “sorry, there are no sessions happening here. Try a different location.” Numerous Apple Stores across Canada are no longer showing interactive Today at Apple sessions.

Earlier this week, Apple similarly cancelled Today at Apple sessions in San Francisco and Seattle, areas with a high outbreak of coronavirus, but this latest move seems to take more drastic steps to reduce interaction and gathering of crowds.

Yesterday, it was reported Apple Stores were increasing their health precautions by not encouraging customers to try on Apple Watch and AirPods in stores.
