Apple to Donate $1 to Fight AIDS on Your Select Apple Pay Purchases

Just like last year, Apple is again donating $1 from every Apple Pay purchase at its retail stores, on Apple.ca or the Apple Store iOS app, to help fight HIV/AIDS through the Global Fund and (RED).

Apple says they will donate starting now through December 2, and “donations are limited to a maximum of $1 million.”

To support (RED)’s fight against AIDS, Apple will donate $1 to the Global Fund for every Apple Pay purchase made at an Apple Store, on apple.com or in the Apple Store app — now through December 2. You can also donate directly using Apple Pay at red.org.

World AIDS Day is on Sunday, December 1, 2019. Expect Apple Stores to have their logos glow red in support again.
