Apple iWork: Numbers App Running On iPhone 4 [screenshots]

At the end of June, evidence showcasing iWork on iPhone was coming from all over the web. Various blogs were capturing screenshots of iWork on iPhone and even Apple themselves had an iWork reference for iPhone.

This whole iWork for iPhone discovery started in early June, when evidence was found that revealed the iPhone’s ability, with iOS 4, to open attachments in external applications such as Keynote. The oddity here was that Keynote is not an officially supported iPhone app.

This hinted at the possibility of iWork, Apple’s productivity suite for the Mac and iPad, being released on the iPhone.

Since June, we have seen Pages running on an iPhone and Keynote referenced as an app that can be used to open documents on iPhone. Now, iPhoneinCanada has received a series of screenshots showcasing Numbers successfuly running on iPhone 4. Check out the shots below:

The Numbers screenshots above showcase the Numbers template browser, the app icon on the homescreen, and an opened spreadsheet. Even though iWork is not an officially supported suite of applications for iPhone, it seems that some users are successfully running the apps.

Should we expect to see iWork for iPhone coming later this year?
