Apple Launches The iPhone 5 In 33 More Countries Including China [VIDEOS]

Apple has today launched its latest and greatest iPhone 5 in 33 more countries, including China, whose 2nd largest wireless carrier China Unicom received 100,000 online pre-orders last week on 1st day of reservations. Fortune is reporting that the iPhone 5 saw mixed reception in different countries, with China getting a low turnout in chilly weather conditions.

While the iPhone 5 received a warm welcome in Malaysia and Indonesia, seeing long lines and big sales, high prices, extreme cold and a “clunky pre-registration lottery” resulted in a unexpectedly low turnout.

The reception varied widely in the early videos. Malaysians and Indonesians greeted the device in the style to which we’ve become accustomed, with long lines and high-volume hoopla.
