Apple Manufacturers Start Producing iPhone 5 For October Launch

We just told you to mark you calendars for October 21st based on a highly credible report and get ready for the iPhone 5. Well another report tells us that the next generation iPhone handset is already under production for an official launch at the projected October date. According to a latest publication from Apple Insider, Apple iPhone manufacturers Foxconn and Pegatron have already begun production of Apple’s next-generation iPhone as the Cupertino giant prepares for public release of iOS 5, which is scheduled for next month most likely at the annual iPod media event.

The news comes from a Japanese site Macotakara which refers to a “Chinese source” claiming that two OEM manufacturers have started iPhone 5 / iPhone 4S assembly with Foxconn bearing 85% and Pegatron taking 15 %of the production load. Interestingly, these iPhone handsets are reportedly being “stocked without packaging” as Apple is not yet ready to install iOS 5 on them.

Chinese source told that Foxconn Technology and Pegatron Technology are in launching to produce the next iPhone by sharing 85% and 15% in rate of number of planned products.

Because iOS 5 is not completed yet, assembled iPhone seems to be stocked without packaging to ready for installing finalized iOS.

Based on the intense rumor mill from previous few months, the next generation iPhone will have a thinner, sleeker body with a larger touch-screen retina display, an 8-Megapixel camera with LED flash and an A5 dual core processor.
