Apple to Reportedly Hold Multiple Special Events in September

Citing sources familiar with the company’s plans, a report by DigiTimes is claiming that Apple may hold multiple special events in September this year. The report notes that Apple is planning to break up its fall product launches into three separate events split across September, October, and November (via MacRumors).

The Taiwanese publication adds that Apple is looking to “host a series of product launch conferences in September,” with one of the events dedicated to the ninth generation baseline iPad.

The company is expected to announce the iPhone 13, Apple Watch Series 7, new AirPods, an updated iPad mini, a new baseline iPad, and all-new MacBook Po models before year-end.

Due to the ongoing global pandemic, Apple’s events since last year have been held digitally rather than in person. The new digital format has also allowed Apple to better plan out the releases of its products, as compared to in person events which are more challenging to execute.

While it may be unlikely, the idea of Apple holding multiple events in a single month is not entirely impossible at this point. I guess we’ll find out for sure in the next couple of weeks.
