Apple the World’s Most Admired Company 8 Years Running: Fortune

For the eighth consecutive year, Apple is top of Fortune’s list of the World’s Most Admired Companies. The world’s most valuable company is followed by Google, Berkshire Hathaway, Amazon, and Starbucks.

The Most Admired companies list is actually a report on corporate reputation, and Apple has scored highest on all nine key attributes of reputation: innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment value, quality of products and services, and finally, global competitiveness.

Fortune’s list is the result of a poll of 4,104 executives, directors and securities analysts who were asked to select the ten companies they admired the most. They chose from a list made up of the top 25 companies of last year’s survey and those that finished in the top 20 of their industry.

Here is the list of the top 10 most admired companies of 2015:

5. Starbucks
6. Walt Disney
