Apple Tests Live Stream Event on YouTube with September 10 Date

Apple got its fanboys and fangirls all riled up this morning, after sending out alerts from YouTube it was testing a live stream, dated for September 10, 2020. The live test was quickly pulled offline shortly after.

But that was not until people captured screenshots of the live test, including Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

“YouTube sent out alerts about an Apple live stream test for Thursday, September 10th. I wouldn’t mark your calendars though,” said Gurman—known for his Apple scoops—suggesting he knows something we don’t.

When will Apple release its iPhone 12 this year? The company already said there would be a delay of a “few weeks” due to coronavirus, meaning we could face an October launch.

Apple leaker Jon Prosser claimed earlier this month an Apple iPhone 12 event could take place the week of October 12, 2020.
