In a tweet, the Apple TV Twitter account confirmed the news that the “Apple TV app is now available on #AndroidTV devices.”

Apple has been opening its gates and allowing more ecosystems to access the Apple TV app. Earlier this year, the Apple TV app launched on Google Chromecast in Canada and additional countries. Last year, during the launch of the new consoles, the Apple TV app migrated to both the Xbox and PlayStation ecosystems.

Additionally, it was announced that the Apple TV app is now available on NVIDIA Shield devices. Users can now download and access the app within the app store marketplace.

With even more users able to access Apple TV, more users can now enjoy Apple TV+’s catalogue of content. Additional titles are being added on the horizon. Starting on June 4th, Stephen King’s ‘Lisey’s Story’ begins airing. On top of that, the second season of ‘Ted Lasso’ starts on July 23rd.
