Apple’s WWDC Event To Be Held From June 5-9th, 2011?

Unless you have been living under a rock, most consumers know that an iPhone device is due every summer since 2007. The Original iPhone hit June 29 2007 (US, not Canada), the iPhone 3G hit July 11 2008, the iPhone 3GS hit June 19 2009, and the recent iPhone 4 hit July 30 2010.

In other words, it seems like Apple enjoys releasing new iPhone devices every summer in June or July. The company also has the tendency release a new iPhone at the company’s annual WWDC event. So that begs the question, when is the next iPhone (iPhone 5?) coming out?!

Originally reported AppleBitch.com, the possible date for WWDC this year may fall between June 5  and June 9, 2011. The Moscone events page, where Apple normally hosts the show, reveals a “Corporate Meeting” in Moscone West from June 5 – 9, 2011.

In 2010, Apple held WWDC between June 7 and June 11, 2010. The iPhone 4 was then released to Canada on July 30, 2010. So, should we expect a June 5 – 9, 2011 iPhone 5 reveal, with a July 2011 release?
