Looking at the latest Google Trends, it appears that bread and baking searches have reached an all-time high in the U.S., Canada, and beyond due to the ongoing global lockdowns amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to Google Trends, search interest in Banana Bread reached an all-time high this month in the U.S, as did searches for “focaccia recipe” which is also trending on YouTube. Searches related to sourdough, from starters to common mistakes, are also seeing a massive surge.
Google has also shared a list of the most-searched bread recipes over the past month in the U.S.

At the same time, search interest in “whipped coffee recipe” has also reached an all-time high.
