Camera+ 6.2 Update Brings New Features Optimized for iOS 8 and iPhone 6
Today, Camera+ for iOS has been updated to version 6.2 which brings new features that are optimized to take advantage of iOS 8 and the capabilities of the iPhone 6 / 6 Plus.
The first new feature takes advantage of the Today Widget in iOS 8. The company has included a new widget that allows users to read inspirational photo quotes, get handy photo tips, and easily open Camera+ with a simple tap.
“In order to comply with the guidelines, we felt a bit like a Bichon Frisé jumping through a series of flaming hoops, but our singed fur was worth it to get this nifty feature into your hands. If you’re not familiar with how to enable widgets, simply follow the instructions in the Camera+ settings menu in the Extensions section.”
The update also brings new advanced white balance controls that allows you to have fine grain control of this setting. If you are using an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus, Camera+ has been updated to take full advantage of the larger display.
If you are an Instagram user, Camera+ 6.2 allows you to share directly to Instagram with a single tap. As usual, the update also contains various bug fixes and performance improvements.
Camera+ (iPhone $2.99, iPad $4.99) is available to download from the App Store. The app requires any device running iOS 7 or later and contains in-app purchases that cost around $0.99.
