Apple’s New CharityBuzz Auction Offers Lunch with Luca Maestri, Apple Park Tour

Having previously offered rewards like lunch with CEO Tim Cook and the chance to meet Eddy Cue, the company’s latest CharityBuzz auction is offering lunch for 2 with Apple Senior Vice President and CFO Luca Maestri on campus in Cupertino, California, as well as a tour of the Apple Park, the company’s headquarters in Cupertino.

With over 25 years of experience building and leading finance teams in global companies, Maestri joined Apple in 2013 as vice president of finance and corporate controller. Prior to joining Apple, Luca was CFO at Xerox and previously at Nokia Siemens Networks. 

As CFO at Apple, Luca oversees the accounting, business support, financial planning and analysis, treasury, M&A, investor relations, internal audit, and tax functions. He reports directly to CEO Tim Cook.

Bidding is scheduled to end on Dec. 05 at 2 p.m. Eastern time. The auction states that the date of the tour is to be mutually agreed upon. So far the auction has secured the highest bid for $20,000, which is well below an estimated value of $50,000.

Proceeds from the auction will go to the Andrea Bocelli Foundation, which supports people and communities facing poverty, illiteracy, and distress due to illness and social exclusion.
