You read about Apple’s new ambitious plans to build a new campus in Cupertino that would hold over 12,000 staff. Cupertino’s Mayor held a short press conference to answer some grilling questions over their decision to support Apple’s new campus.
With America still recovering from a recession, Cupertino would be foolish to not accomodate the investment from Apple, their single largest taxpayer (they’re probably salivating). Listen to the Mayor dodge some questions about whether or not they are just playing to Steve Jobs and his demands. It’s also revealed that Steve Jobs gave the Council a last minute heads up he was coming, catching everyone by surprise. Hence, the voracious entrance applause he received the other night.
Classic, Steve Jobs.
What would you do if you were the Mayor of Cupertino?
