Deezer Now Shows You Lyrics As You Listen, iOS Compatibility Coming Soon

Today, streaming music service Deezer has added a new feature which allows you to read the lyrics of a song as you listen.

Other streaming music services like Spotify have similar features which are available through third-party add-ons. However, Deezer is the first music service that has this feature built-in. Here is a list of key features included with the addition of Deezer Lyrics:

– Sing-a-long mode: this mode guides you through the song line by line

– Score mode: score mode allows you to see all the words on the screen at one time. This enables you to learn at your own pace and never miss a word.

– A microphone button has now been installed in the player. With one click, you’ll have the words at your finger tips

The company behind the streaming music service promises to continually add more lyrics over time. Deezer’s new lyrics functionality is currently available through the web and on Android, however, the company says that iOS compatibility is coming soon.

“As you can imagine it will take us a while to add 35 million tracks worth of Lyrics, but each week we will continue to add more and more. Lyrics is currently only available on web and Android – but iOS is coming, so hold tight.”

Deezer Music is available as a free download from the App Store. The app requires a device running iOS 5.0 or later and contains in-app purchases that range from $6.99 to $13.99.
