DoorDash Launches ‘DashMart’ Virtual Grocery and Convenience Store in Canada

DoorDash has today announced the launch of DashMart, a new type of convenience and grocery store in Canada that provides fast and affordable deliveries of over 2,000 items.

Located in the “Convenience Tab” on the DoorDash app or DoorDash.com, DashMart carries everything from fresh fruits and vegetables, meat and dairy, pantry staples, household essentials, and more. 

DashMart is initially available in five cities including Toronto, London, Winnipeg, Vancouver, and Kitchener, with more locations opening over the next year.

“We accelerated our launch into the grocery and convenience categories amidst the pandemic to address a heightened consumer need for household essentials on demand. Now we are excited to offer customers a one-stop shopping experience with fast, affordable deliveries,” said Shilpa Arora, GM of Canada.

In addition to a broad assortment of grocery staples, DashMart offers local merchant products such as favourites from Juke Fried Chicken and Nook Pasta Room.

Depending on their location, customers can browse from a selection of local products including:

• Rawcology’s line of Granolas, Coconut Chips, and more
• Not Too Sweet’s Craft Sodas
• Hoochy ‘Booch Kombucha
• Pilot Coffee Roasters’ Coffee
• 49th Parallel Coffee Roasters’ Coffee
• Bagelsmith Bagels

DashMart is open from 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
