Set to debut on YouTube today, the docuseries highlights small business owners and how they’ve been able to thrive through DoorDash’s Entrepreneurship & Access Programs.

In ‘Made for This,’ VanVleet takes viewers on a cross Canada tour to meet the owners behind some of Vancouver, Toronto, and Calgary’s most beloved community restaurants.

Along the way, viewers learn their and Fred’s recipe for success and how passion, hard work, and support from partners like DoorDash blend together to create a strong foundation for community and culture.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Fred VanVleet and Uninterrupted Canada to shine a light on small businesses in Canada and the people behind them,” said Heather Cameron, Senior Manager, Canada Brand Marketing at DoorDash. “At DoorDash, we are always looking for ways to leverage our platform and partnerships to support and champion local businesses and we’re excited to continue uplifting the next generation of business owners through our Entrepreneurship and Access programs.

Participating entrepreneurs include Chieff Bosompra, owner of Aunty Lucy’s Burgers in Toronto, Deepak and Diana Chadha of Signature Indian Cuisine in Whitby, Akil Jassani of Take it and Go in Calgary, Itamar Shani of Chickpea in Vancouver, and Asha Wheeldon of Kula Kitchen in Vancouver.
