Craig Federighi Explains ‘Scheduled iMessage’ Feature in Reply to User’s Email
In reply to an email sent out by a Reddit user requesting a ‘Scheduled iMessage’ feature, Apple’s senior vice president of Software Engineering Craig Federighi has provided a detailed explanation of the complexities that come with the suggested iMessage feature.

As noted by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Federighi has responded with quite a bit of detail on the subject, saying although Apple has been considering the feature for quite a while, there are still some concerns that have so far hindered the introduction of such a feature.
Since Federighi said that scheduled iMessages is something Apple “continues to consider,” it is quite likely we eventually see it in a future iOS update.
