Gameloft Soft Launches ‘Gangstar New Orleans’ in Canada

Gameloft’s highly anticipated game ‘Gangstar New Orleans’, which was soft launched in Phillipines last month, has today been soft launched in Canada as well. According to TouchArcade, Gameloft had blocked anyone from playing the game who wasn’t actually from the Philippines but now, the game has officially been made available for download in the Canadian App Store.

“Like most highly anticipated titles, folks on our forums quickly downloaded the game and sharing their first impressions. A few days later, for whatever reason, Gameloft rejiggered things on their end to block anyone from playing the game who wasn’t actually from the Philippines.

It’s still important that remember that even though the game is available in a larger region that much more of the TouchArcade community has access to, this is still a soft launch”.
