German Carrier Says The iPhone Is Coming In September

I think we’ve heard enough at this point. We know the iPhone is coming, and the announcement date is rumored to be right around the corner on September 12th, if you haven’t already heard. But just in-case you needed more verification, a German carrier might know more than us average people do.

Mobilecom Debitel has already posted on their website that the new iPhone is coming. Unfortunately the banner didn’t provide an actual picture of the device, but did ‘verify’ September as the release month.

Translated from German, here is what the banner reads:

“In September, it’s finally time for a new generation of smartphone to go on sale. mobilcom-debitel allows you to find free e-mail about everything worth knowing about iPhone.”

For a carrier to post this type of information early is very odd, especially since Apple never verified the iPhone would officially be coming in September. Who knows, maybe Apple is beginning to tip carriers so they are prepared for the September launch.
