Google Docs Viewer Now Previews Apple Pages

Google has just announced that Google Docs Viewer will now preview documents from Pages. 12 total new file types were included in the new preview update:

Today we’re excited to launch support for 12 new file types:

  • Microsoft Excel (.XLS and .XLSX)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 / 2010 (.PPTX)
  • Apple Pages (.PAGES)
  • Adobe Illustrator (.AI)
  • Adobe Photoshop (.PSD)
  • Autodesk AutoCad (.DXF)
  • Scalable Vector Graphics (.SVG)
  • PostScript (.EPS, .PS)
  • TrueType (.TTF)
  • XML Paper Specification (.XPS)

I use Pages and Google Docs a lot, and this latest update will save me time as I’ll get to preview them instantly in my web browser.
