Google has announced new widgets for its Google Photos and YouTube Music iOS apps, available on iOS 14.

“The iPhone 12 comes out tomorrow, and if you’re getting ready to upgrade, here are 4 ways you can customize Google apps to get the most out of your new phone,” writes Luke Wroblewski, Director, iOS at Google.

Here’s what the Google Photos widget looks like in iOS 14. Google says it “rotates through Memories from Google Photos so you can relive some of your best moments right on your homescreen”:

Google says you can also try Google Maps and YouTube Music on Apple Watch as well, plus set Gmail or Chrome as your defaults now within iOS 14.

“We hope you get more from your new iPhone with these Google features—and stay tuned for more announcements in the coming weeks to make your iOS device even more helpful,” concluded Wroblewski, in a company blog post.

It’s time to put your Apple Photos widget next to the Google Photos widget and see who wins.
