Alongside the public release of iOS 7.1 earlier today, Apple also rolled out a software update for Apple TV, which takes it to version 6.1. As pointed out by iLounge, one of the most significant changes in Apple TV 6.1 is the ability to hide channels from the main menu.
Users can make the changes by going to Settings > Main Menu, or directly from the main menu by holding down the center button and pressing play. The tweak makes it a lot easier for users to navigate and organize the main menu by hiding the channels to which they have no access or interest.
