Today, HotelTonight announced that it has expanded its use of Apple Pay into its check-out options for new hotel guests.
The expansion means that new HotelTonight customers can easily book a room with Apple Pay and authenticate using a fingerprint with Touch ID. In a statement, HotelTonight Vice President of Product Amanda Richardson said:
“We just made the easiest way to book a hotel even easier. We are obsessive about reducing friction for our customers and making it crazy-simple and fast for them to find and book great hotels. We recently redesigned our check-out with Touch ID so that our customers don’t have to spend time entering their name or email address or payment information. With two quick taps and a touch of their finger with Touch ID, they can get out of the app and into their room ASAP, even if it’s their first time using HotelTonight.”
HotelTonight has also announced summer-long exclusive deals for Apple Pay users, offering an additional $20, $40 or $100 off a #TravelTuesday stay. New HotelTonight users also get an additional $25 discount on their first booking.
