This time the issues appear to be worldwide, as readers from multiple countries reached out to AppleInsider, 9to5Mac, and other blogs to detail their own issues.
Apple has updated its System Status page to reflect the downtime, and as of writing the article iCloud has been experiencing downtime for 2.5 hours.

According to the System Status page, the outage now affects only some users (e.g., me), who may incorrectly receive an authentication error when attempting to use iCloud, while trying to log in using the Web interface of iCloud. If you are trying to set up a new iCloud account, you may get the “temporarily unavailable” error message.

Also, the outage seems to be affecting Apple’s iTunes Store as well. Users browsing the store may be unable to access the iTunes store or complete purchases.
