iOS 6.1.4 Jailbreak Running Successfully On iPhone 5

The Evasi0n jailbreak was known as the first ever untethered jailbreak solution on devices running iOS 6 and above. The exploit was then patched by Apple’s iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4 firmware releases.

It was announced last week that an untethered 6.1.3 jailbreak was possible, but was not publicly available since it needed some more work. Today, we have even more good news, for those running iOS 6.1.4 on the iPhone 5.

iOS 6.1.4 was released back in May and was for iPhone 5 users only. The firmware update brought forward minor bug fixes and came in at only 11.5MB.

Developer Winocm, who was the one to achieve the untethered jailbreak on iOS 6.1.3, tweeted out a picture of iOS 6.1.4 running Cydia on an iPhone 5.

Currently iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4 jailbreak solutions are not publicly available. For those who want to jailbreak iOS 6, you have to be running iOS 6.1.2 or earlier. Posted below is a how to video on jailbreaking iOS 6.
