Apple’s iPhone XS, Apple Watch Reserve and Pick Up System Down in Canada [u]

There appears to be a problem with Apple’s iPhone XS and Apple Watch Series 4 pre-order system, as customers in Canada showing up to get their Reserve and Pick Up orders at Apple retail stores are unable to do so.

@iPhoneinCanada any information on Apple’s reservation system down? No phones being released in Burlington rn. Apparently a global issue.

The problem appears to be global at the moment and not limited to Canada. With the system going down on the launch day of iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and Apple Watch Series 4, stores are seeing long lines and confusion for customers, who are eagerly awaiting their shiny new devices.

Other iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and Apple Watch Series 4 customers with pre-orders today are seeing delays in their shipments, with some getting a message their package delivery has been delayed until Monday.

Update: Pick ups appear to be working now, as iPhone in Canada reader, Vinnie, says he was able to pick up two reservations at the Masonville, Ontario, Apple Store.
