Koodo Extends $70/10GB Promo Plan with Tab Medium for Some Users

Back in May, Telus flanker brand, Koodo Mobile, offered a $70/10GB plan that was eligible on Tab Small/Medium ($240/$360 subsidies) for some customers, made available via text message.

Now, it appears this plan, which expired on June 30, 2018, is being extended for some Koodo customers.

According to iPhone in Canada reader Ryan from Ontario, after logging into his Koodo Self-Serve portal, this $70/10GB plan popped up as an option when he clicked the ‘Change Plan’ option, under Medium Tab. He was able to switch his line over and his wife’s as well, but the promo plan was not an option under lines for his kids’ phones.

Below is a screenshot he sent of his updated Koodo Mobile plan, which includes unlimited nationwide calling and text, call display, voicemail, call waiting, conference calling and data overages billed at $7/100MB or $70/1GB:

This plan did not have an expiry date listed, as it only mentioned it was available “for a limited time.”

Recently, we’ve shared some “win back” offers made by Rogers, Telus and Fido. As we enter summer and eventually head towards the “back to school” season (yes, I know, #toosoon), expect more annual promo plans to pop up from our wireless carriers.

Let us know if you’re seeing this $70/10GB offer in your Koodo Self-Serve.
