LinkedIn Stories Now Available in Canada and Beyond

Linkedin stories

If you aren’t fatigued from recording and watching stories from Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and more, you can now throw LinkedIn Stories into the mix.

LinkedIn Stories have launched today in Canada and the United States, allowing users to share more about their professional life. Stories uploaded are available for 24 hours.

“LinkedIn Stories are a great way to start lightweight conversations related to your work-life. Based on what we’ve heard from our members during our testing across the globe, the stories that resonate well are professional in nature, and make it easy for a response – for example, you could share a unique perspective from your work day, ask a question to your network, share insights on timely breaking news, walk through a product demo or teach others a skill,” explains the company.

The LinkedIn app has Stories bubbles across the top and you can just tap the “+” icon to add a story. Videos or photos can be added through the LinkedIn app, with videos limited to 20 seconds. You can also add stickers, text and also @ mentions for users.

Some other updates from LinkedIn today include the ability for users to edit or delete a message within conversations, plus start a video call directly from a chat.

LinkedIn Stories is now available in the U.S. Canada, France, Australia, Brazil, Netherlands, and the UAE. LinkedIn says, “we’ll be rolling this out to members globally soon.”
