Lyft is Offering This $5 Off Promo Code for 2018 TIFF

Today marks the launch of the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival and official sponsor Lyft wants to let you save on rides.

Lyft informs iPhone in Canada those seeking rides at designated pickup and drop off locations at Roy Thomson Hall, Ryerson Theatre and Festival Tower, can save $5 off rides by using promo code TIFFLYFT18. Those entering the code will also be automatically entered into a contest to win two tickets to a film screening at the festival.

Lyft says they will also be at the TIFF Street Festival as well, where moviegoers can visit the Lyft Legendary Rides Lounge from September 6-9 to grab snacks, play trivia games or charge up their phones.

For 2018, Lyft Entertainment is also a producing partner of the documentary, “This Changes Everything”, premiering at TIFF, which looks at gender disparity in Hollywood and how to change it.

Yesterday, it was reported Apple executives are attending TIFF, as part of the iPhone maker’s digital content ambitions.
