Microsoft Windows Chief Using New Surface Tablet As A Skateboard [PHOTOS]

Microsoft unveiled the Canadian pricing for its upcoming Windows RT Surface tablet and started taking pre-orders online yesterday. Today, a couple of interesting photos shared by Microsoft Windows boss Steven Sinofsky on Twitter, demonstrate how the new tablet makes for a pretty good skateboard too, points out the Business Insider.

Perhaps the Windows chief wanted to highlight the fact that Microsoft’s Surface is extremely sturdy, so he slapped a pair of skateboard trucks and soft longboard wheels on the tablet and rode it around a little bit.

Here’s the photo he tweeted of himself trying to shred on the Surface. Since he runs Windows, which is Microsoft’s most important product, he’s probably the company’s most important employee, which is why he’s protecting his noggin with a helmet.

Looks like this has been done with the original iPad as well, though this was by real skateboarders who rode it on a mini ramp.
